Francisco de Borbón
Mr. de Borbón has over 20 years experience investing and advising across the private equity and real-estate sectors in the United States, Europe and South America.
Since 1993, he has been Chairman of engineering organisation IECSA, which specialises in management of the construction of turn key hospitals worldwide. Mr. de Borbón was previously Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Miami as well as Chairman and Chief Executive of Miami National Bank, Florida.
His other appointments include Director of Ahorro Familiar S.A., Madrid, the Madrid Stock Exchange listed real estate company, Honorary Chairman of the Board Victoria and Albert Gildred Foundation for Latin American Health and Education, Florida, USA. Ex-Executive Chairman, Spain-USA Chamber of Commerce, Miami. Ex-Executive Chairman of the Deutsche Chamber of Commerce in Spain. Ex–Trustees of the Florida Governor’s Mansion, Tallahassee, Florida, Ex-Director of the Spanish subsidiary of Guardian Royal Insurance and International Business Ambassador of Florida, USA.
Mr. de Borbón was educated at University Complutense de Madrid in Economics, Politics and Social Studies, the Political Science University of Sorbonne (Paris), where he studied Economic History.
