Digital security: Crédit des Alpes acquires 55% of Swiss Data Deposit

Crédit des Alpes, the banking group controlled by the Italian-Swiss financeer Fabrizio Cerina, has acquired 55% in Swiss Data Deposit AG of Zurich, one of the main world producers of digital data security and protection technology. Swiss Data Deposit services in Italy mostly the large hospitals, providing them with advanced encryption technology and storage of confidential data.
Crédit des Alpes’ holdings include Redaelli Tecna, the largest Italian and fifth worldwide producer of steel wires and in the restaurant group Cipriani (whose Harry’s Bar brand name is the most famous) in London.
